2013 CSA Farm Membership Program
Fresh Organic Produce  at a Great Price All Season Long!

Picture
A CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) membership program is a partnership between the farmers and the community.  Members invest in a season’s worth of vegetables, and then every week they come to the farm, or to a drop-off site, to receive their share of the weekly harvest.  CSA members get the farm going in the early spring and help keep our spirits up through the season... they are the heart of our farm.  Our vegetables are certified organic by MOFGA.

What Does The Customer Get? Members can expect a bushel box  of vegetables each week.  The share tends to be a little lighter and more greens heavy in the beginning, and as the season goes along, it diversifies and bulks up.  Members also get a connection to their food, farmer and the not-to-be-played-down aspect of supporting their local economy.  Members also can come to the farm to pick bouquets from our rows of cut flowers.

What Does The Farm Get?
When members sign up and pay for a seasons worth of food, we know that the food is sold.  Farming, organic farming, is more of a gamble than we like to acknowledge, and with a CSA program, we know that there are people out there who care, and are willing to take the risk with us.  We also get the peace of mind that our food in getting into the hands of those who will use it well... we have a connection with the people who are eating our food... a connection with our community.  Its those connections that truly keep the farm going.
